My experience at Hotel Alpina was frustrating. The Wi-Fi was incredibly unreliable, leaving me disconnected during my stay. Additionally, the common areas were dimly lit, making it an uncomfortable experience navigating around. Lastly, I found it inconvenient not having an elevator, especially while hauling heavy luggage up the gravel road to access the hotel.

Positive, The room was really enchanting with a lovely wooden vibe and a surprising balcony view of the mountains. The breakfast was spot on for our hiking plans, and the shoe drying racks were a great touch after wet trails. Super clean and cozy!

The breakfast offers locally inspired items, and the couple running the hotel genuinely cares about their guests, ensuring a warm atmosphere. Room 33 was particularly nice, providing comfort and space for relaxation. The scenic views from the hotel contribute significantly to the overall experience.

We stayed for 2 nights, and the family room was enormous! Having the loft with extra beds was super handy for us. Breakfast offered tasty options like fresh pastries. The only drawback was the faint smell of chlorine near the pool, which made it less inviting. Overall, great experience!

staying here allowed me to easily stroll to the nearby breathtaking lake oeschinensee, which is just under 4 km away, and I appreciated the short walk to the friendly restaurants nearby, like Bluemlisalp, only a few steps from my door, making it easy to enjoy the local cuisine after a day of exploring the area.

Great spot for a group trip! We checked out the Wiler Lauchernalp Gondola and Engstligenalp Gondola Lift for skiing and other activities. There’s also table tennis and darts for some fun downtime. Breakfast included fresh croissants and loads of options. The friendly host made us feel at home, and the area is perfect for outdoor adventures. Worth the stay!
